Myofascial Release - MFR

What is it?

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a safe and effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle, sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This therapy, developed by John F. Barnes, treats the entire body, not just the symptoms.

How does it work?

Fascia is a tough connective tissue that spreads throughout the body in a three-dimensional web from head to toe. Trauma, inflammation, or injuries can cause the fascia to become tight and restricted, leading to pain and reduced mobility. MFR uses gentle, sustained pressure to release these restrictions, allowing the body to heal and return to a balanced state.
